 Lella Lombardi earned just ½ point with her 6th place in the 1975 Spanish GP, for the race was interrupted on lap 29, due to safety reasons. Lella Lombardi holds the record of the most appearances by a female F1 driver. After leaving F1, she competed in the in NASCAR and Sportscars series, but was finally forced to retire due to ill health. Sadly, Lella Lombardi died of cancer before reaching the age of 50. |
